Q: What are Shanowen Hall office opening hours?
- Office is open from 10 am to 5.45 pm from Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Q: How far is DCU?
- It is less than 5 minute walk to the DCU main gate on Collin’s Avenue.

Q: Is there a shop nearby?
- Yes, there is a Spar beside us. OMNI shopping centre (TESCO, Pharmacy, Argos, other 60 shops, 10 Restaurants and 11 Cinema Screens) is within 10 minutes walk.

Q: Is there security on site?
- Yes, we do have night time security person and a caretaker on site 24/7. Care taker can be contacted at 086 0835166 in case of any emergency.

Q: Is there parking?
- Yes, we have a limited number of secure parking spaces available. Please contact our office for reservation.

Q: Is Smoking allowed?
- No, smoking is not allowed inside the apartment.

Q: Is there a TV in the apartment?
- There are TV points (with NTL basic connection) in all bedrooms and living room so you can have your own TV. TV can be rented cheaply and locally.

Q: Do I have my own bathroom?
- Yes, each student has their own bathroom and bedroom with only the kitchen and living area shared amongst three or four residents of that apartment.

Q: Are credit card payments accepted?
- No. The methods of payment that we accept are cheque, demand draft, bank transfer or cash paid at our office only.

Q: How do we get to Shanowen Hall from the Dublin airport?
- You can get a Taxi direct costing around €15 or you can get a bus going towards to city centre via Omni shopping center around €2
and get off after Omni shopping center bus stop and walk around 5 minutes in Shanowen Road. The man bus corridor from Airport to City Centre passes by Shanowen Road.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
- First Years: A cancellation charge of €40 applies up to 29th August 2011. After this date the full deposit is non-refundable.
- Non First Years: A cancellation charge of €40 applies up to 15th August 2011. After this date the full deposit is non-refundable.
- All cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

Q: What If I leave early?
- The booking/security deposit will not be refunded if a student decides to leave before the period of residence is complete.

Q: Can I deduct booking deposit from rent payment?
- No, deposit and rent are two separate payments.
